Today, I finally did something I’ve been working towards and thinking about for over three years.

I finished paying off my credit card debt.

One of the major reasons I came to Seoul was to pay off my debt and save money, and it feels incredible to finally have that accomplished. Last Christmas, I remember sitting in my parents house, crying because I just couldn’t imagine how I could escape from all my debt. I had nearly 5 figures of debt, and had missed and been late on payments because I didn’t have the cash I needed.

Accomplishing this took a major lifestyle change–and tons of emotional support from friends and family–but I did it! HURRAH!
